Issues & inspections

With GISGRO mobile you can report new defects and incidents straight from the field and view and edit issues relevant to you. You can also check out upcoming inspections and inspect assets!

Add issues

Defect

Tap on the Add button on the main menu and select Defect as the type of marking to add and the map will open up​. The blue pointer will show the spot on the map where the defect will be added and you can move it by dragging​. Tap Next and fill in the details of the defect. Description is the only required info in addition to the set location!

You can take a picture as attachment by tapping the camera icon.

Incident

Tap on the Add button on the main menu and select Incident as the type of marking to add and the map will open up​. The blue pointer will show the spot on the map where the incident will be added and you can move it by dragging​. Tap Next and fill in the details of the incident. Description and date and time are required info in addition to the set location!

Remember to select a tag for the issue to make sure it get’s assigned to a supervisor if the preset superviors are used!

View & edit issues

You can view and edit active issues (not yet done) where you are assignee, supervisor or author. Tap on the Issues button on the main menu and select defects or incidents. First you are shown the issues that are assigned to you. If you want to view the ones supervised by you or the ones reported by you tap on the Assignee field or swipe left. Tap on the Show map button and view all of the listed issues on the map. Return to the list view by tapping Hide map. Open issue details by tapping one from the list or map and change the status or add a comment. You can also add or delete attachments!

Inspect assets

View upcoming and saved inspections by tapping on the Inspect button on the main menu. If you have some inspections that you have started but not finished yet those will be visible under Saved inspections. Under Upcoming inspections you can see inspections that are already due or will be soon! Select an inspection and check the details by tapping on the arrow. The assets in the inspection are shown in a list but you can also view them on the map. Select an asset to inspect from the list or map and mark if the asset needs attention and add an observation or attachment. When you have inspected all the assets you can add some general details and attachments and finish the inspection. If you don’t have time to inspect all the assets you can continue where you left off later on!

You can use the map to find the asset to inspect if you have your location on!
