Mobile overview

GISGRO mobile offers a fast and easy way to add and view data and report issues from the field! When you log in to GISGRO using a mobile device you get directed to the mobile version automatically. You don’t need to download any app!

Open the browser on your mobile device and type in app.gisgro.com or m.gisgro.com to get to the log in page. We recommend saving GISGRO mobile to your home screen so you can access it like any app just by tapping the icon! After logging in the main menu opens up and you can see all the tools and features you have access to. The same access rights apply both in desktop and mobile versions! You can log out via the three lines icon on the top right.

We recommend allowing GISGRO mobile to use your location so you can see where you are on the map and add data to that specific spot!

View & edit data

Tap on the Map button on the main menu to access the map view and move around & zoom in/out using your fingertips. Edit the selected base map and choose which layers you want to see on the map from the Layers button on the top right. Close the layers menu by tapping the map above it. Return to the menu by tapping the arrow on the top left!

Tap on the Assets button on the main menu and set filters to find specific assets. You can search the assets by name, category and tags. After you have set the filters tap on the Show button on the bottom right corner and view all of them on the map by selecting Show map. Return to the list view by tapping Hide map. Open asset details by tapping an asset from the list or map and select Edit to change any detail you want. You can also change the position of the asset by dragging on the map!

Take a picture as attachment by tapping the camera icon!

Add assets

Tap on the Add button on the main menu and select Asset as the type of marking to add and the map will open up. The blue pointer will show the spot on the map where the asset will be added and you can move it by dragging. Tap Next and fill in at least name and category to be able to save the asset.

You can edit the base map and visible layers also when setting the location of the asset on the map.
